My name is Daren Micalizzi I am the owner and founder of Wash-Rite SoftWashing. I went through rigorous training courses, hours of studying and finally testing to become a certified applicator. Throughout this process I learned mixing Softwash solutions, proper spraying techniques on all different surfaces, and environmental law. “The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree”…Each and every employee goes through the same process. After growing up in Trumbull, Connecticut and after attending the Southern CT State University I put on a white shirt with tie and I entered the workforce, only to find that sitting behind a desk and pushing a pencil wasn’t for me. I needed to be more hands on and I wanted to own, and run, my own business, though I wasn’t quite sure what kind of business would best suit me.
And so my collar changed from white to blue.
I worked as a carpenter, I helped build houses from the ground up, I remodeled houses from stem to stern, and I also demolished houses from top to bottom. I performed masonry work, did some electric, I worked for a roofer, I cleaned gutters, and I worked for a power washing service. In the process of doing all this, little by little, I gained a wealth of knowledge.
In the end, all of this led me to the concept of softwashing. It simply made sense to me. Therefore, I made it a point to take courses, I became certified, and I bought the proper, and very best, equipment. All this being the case, I’m now very excited to offer my services to you. “About me” ?
